WALK THE LONDON MARATHON ROUTE

SATURDAY 9TH & SUNDAY 10TH APRIL 2011

Walkers raise close to £20,000

Our inaugural Why Run When You Can Walk? London Marathon Walk has raised close to a staggering £20,000 to help the vital work of MGA!

More than 30 people signed up and pounded the streets of London covering all 26.2 miles of the actual London marathon route. Our picture above shows the group raring to go at the start at Blackheath Gate.

Blisters aside, everyone had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed their experience and we were delighted to have Lloyd Scott MBE (that bloke who did the marathon in a full divers suit) presenting the awards at our end of event celebration.
